“It was far too removed, as if she were discussing a science experiment or a grammar lesson and not the double homicide of two young women snuffed out in the prime of their lives.”

That sounds like the same Meredith Hopper who gave me the brush-off. Why would somebody in a job like that be so dismissive?

Just read the link. Hilarious. I called Central Precinct twice and left detailed messages with the front desk, I Facebooked her, and emailed, all in the last year.

No response.

However 18 months ago I called and left a message and she called me back. Super cold on the phone. Dead voice. She sounds like a miserable person. Then she said, after I asked about the double homicide and the Jernigan connection, “Nothing can be proven.”

End of story. Totally closed minded. And then she ended the call. Sounds like we had a very similar experience.

Such a sweet gal. Can only imagine what a joy it would be to meet this lovely lady in person.

Not surprised one bit. LOL… They think they’re this elite squad, better than other people, smarter, savvier, more perceptive, because they’re “detectives” with a police department.

My husband Don has told me, and I believe him, that some of the worst police officers later became detectives. Big woop. People who couldn’t find their head if it wasn’t attached to their bodies. Her diction, if those 2011 quotes are actually from her, is very poor. She doesn’t sound like she can string two coherent sentences together.

And then people who act like that generally suffer from feelings of inferiority. I’m sure that’s her in a nutshell. LOL…
