Presidents, senators, governors, judges, professors, doctors of philosophy, editors, and the like are only a little less ignorant than the rest of us. Even an expert is a person who chooses to be ignorant about many things so that he may know all about one.”
Below is the email I sent to Steve “Tiny Terror” Novick, and the other eleven commissioners, with the notable exception of Eric Zimmerman who does not have an open access email. All he has is a link on his web-page, which I’m certain will limit the bother of being emailed by his constituents, and make his life much easier.

Steve Novick and all others:
You demonstrated incredible stupidity and unprofessionalism when you cheapened the proceedings at the last meeting at City Hall, and attacked SAM ADAMS in the juvenile and childish way that you did.
Blaming HIM for everything? How sadly childish and immature on your part, to be so shortsighted and small minded.
And to all the other commissioners who laughed, chuckled and giggled, they also demonstrated incredible immaturity, childishness and overall ignorance and cheapened the proceedings as well. This is not a game. People's lives are at stake and people are dying on the streets. Are you aware of that, Steve? Or are you still lost in a fantasy world?
Ultimately, you are a joke and no one takes you seriously, despite your win, getting back on the Portland politics Gravy Train. It will be interesting to see you insert your foot in your mouth, regularly, as you did the other day, when you attacked Sam Adams, a man who has infinitely MORE experience in politics than you ever will.
You have learned NOTHING from your past mistakes. You're still the awkward kid trying to be the class clown and gain the approval of the group. In a way, I feel sorry for you, but I am also offended by your ignorance, naivety and childish need to be the center of attention.
You have a lot to learn, as you still have not learned some important lessons about how to be respectful and not act like a condescending teenager. Bottom line is that Sam Adams has accomplished more for Portland than you have or ever will at any time in the future. And I believe you know this.
I'm certain your bizarre and unprovoked attack on his character stems from your own deep seated insecurities, short sightedness in general and your lack of success regarding your past performance in the circus of Portland politics -- and particularly why you lost to an illiterate hothead like 'Clover Delight' Eudaly.
You lost to Chloe, simply because you were so disliked. I'd like to remind you of that little tidbit, lest you forget.
I look forward to your future stupid, inane comments, wherein you snugly insert your little foot into your large mouth, as I know you will, again and again and again.
But when you attack someone as accomplished and brilliant as Sam Adams, you only make yourself look like a fool. Hopefully, in future, you will concentrate on the serious tasks at hand and not on being the class clown.
In a single phrase, Steve, you really need to grow up.
