My husband Don and I had a great day today and a wonderful week. Today we met with some friends at the Goose Hollow Inn and had a wonderful lunch visiting with old and new friends, Wynne and Rachel, and several others.
Later, when my husband and I had to go to the VA Hospital up the road, Don got his new nano-technology hearing aids, free of charge and courtesy of the VA and he is very happy with them. When people get older and begin to lose their hearing, it can be a distressing time wherein they feel disconnected from others, isolated and alone.
But best of all, today while at the VA, I met a small business owner, Jasmine, who gifted me with three articles of clothing from her small stall. I’d like to promote the small business of this lovely woman, Jasmine Jensen, to say Thank You for her surprising and unexpected generosity.
Jasmine is an African American woman who sells clothing and military hats and her business is called Glamour Looks Alaska. She regularly sells military hats and women’s clothing at her stall, which is near the cafeteria on the first floor of the VA Hospital, in Portland, Oregon up on “Pill Hill.”
The VA Hospital is located at…3710 Southwest US Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, OR. 97239.
Jasmine’s information is as follows…

I hope that you will visit her stall at the VA Hospital, or contact her directly at her email or phone and arrange to buy her military hats and the women’s clothing she sells.
All of the clothing she sells is pretty, and high quality and she is a lovely, kind and generous person, so PLEASE support her small business!
