Five years ago, the Oregon legislature passed Senate Bill 52 – called Adi’s Act in memory of a Grant High School boy in Portland who wanted to be a girl and had adopted a female persona. This poor kid decided he needed to be a girl after watching a film in health class. Teachers and administrators cheered “her” on. The school’s magazine featured “her” prominently.
Sadly, “she” ended up committing suicide. Perhaps he should have been allowed to remain a boy until he was older and better understood himself.
About the same time this was all going on, a woman went on NextDoor and raised intelligent questions about what Portland schools were teaching in sex education class. She was immediately ostracized, canceled and called a homophobe.
I still feel badly about what happened to “Adi.” I have forgotten his real name. He died with that female name. Had he been allowed to remain male until he was older and away from high school, he might be alive today as a young man.
That's a sad story. I've read about so many. I can't imagine allowing myself to be mutilated the way they're doing to kids today. The Detransitioners are a wave that can't be stopped, though. One day the butcher surgeons (and the ones up at OHSU) who do this butchery will have to look themselves in the mirror. I predict they won't like what they see... fools.
The most stunning aspect of this whole sordid tale is the absolute un-Hippocratic Oath fervor with which the medical hive-mind Borg swallowed this idiocy without legitimate evidence of positive outcomes. The anti-science of the medical research, the cultish idolatry to an ideology and the cancelling of any sane adult or medical professional who spoke against the gospel of mutilation and life-long drug commitments … must be remembered. Because the religion of Oppression Theory has invaded science - integrity is gone. In the wake of COVID and Gender Theory, Conspiracy Theorists are now something like 10-0.
This whole crazy trend really shows how the Dumbing Down of America is pretty much complete. People today are illiterate and now we have AI, so college students don't have to think or write college papers. Just get some AI machine to do it for you. The world is certifiably NUTS.
