Is he trying to clean up his name, after working as Campaign manager & chief of staff for Chloe Eudaly, a woman with documented ties to white supremacists, or does he want to "give back" to Portland?
Good hit piece. If any of the secondary candidates really understand the new way votes will be counted (multiple times), they might be angling to win on a fifth or sixth round of counting by being second or third best. Check out the Alaska Congressional vote in '22 and the more recent Oakland CA voting--which put someone into office who trailed--badly--for five phases of the count and then won. The mayor's house was recently raided by the FBI investigating human trafficking.
If Gonzalez doesn't get 50-percent plus one vote, then he won't be mayor. I'm betting on the stripper--if Bud Clark, bar owner, could win then why not someone who worked in Portland's flesh iindustry?
Thank you Richard. I enjoyed writing it. Though I sounded exhausted and depressed in the Podcast portion, I really enjoyed putting this little bit together. I'm sure there are things wrong with it, as in arrangement of paragraphs, etc, but it was fun. Marshall is an idiot. Listening to his recent podcast of three days ago was extremely tedious. He's so pleased with himself and thinks he's smarter than everyone else. NOT. The hair is absurd. If it's going to be long like that then at least WASH it once in a while. LOL...
I thank you for the insight on Michael O'Callaghan. Looking at his website I realized he is a homeless advocate and that's the last thing Portland needs as a mayor. I didn't know that he was homeless at one time or possibly still homeless. 😏😁
