Substackers, be careful of fake accounts!

Substack administrators are aware of this pattern and I have found that it’s true when I suddenly lose 5 or more subscribers in a short time, when they do not ‘unsubscribe’ in the normal way.

Fake Substack accounts are on the rise. Be careful Substack writers, not to let them in your trusted circle of friends. They are con artists who will try to work on your sympathy and then… wait for it! ASK YOU FOR MONEY!!

Don’t follow them back and if they subscribe, block them.
