Correction: The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities. 😁

It is used often to describe regular people. The two scientists who came up with it began their research because a not very smart man thought that if he put Lemon juice on his face, it was like invisible ink and he'd be invisible and able to get away with an armed robbery, so its often used to describe unsmart people.. LOL...
