“Distributed Canvassing
In the last week I finished the final endorsement interview for Willamette Week and the Oregonian and we’ll soon know the results. The forums are starting to see bigger audiences and outside groups will begin spending to sway the public. In just a few days voter’s pamphlets and ballots will begin to arrive.
It’s time to reach voters where they are. The most flexible way to do this is to use the MiniVAN app. It allows me to set the target doors in the district. You can log in on your phone and it will tell you which doors are nearest you and you can mark them off as you drop lit. Click the image below to watch a tutorial. The list number to enter is 48145669-74846. It also allows phone banking, which we’ll work to stand up next week.
I’ll have boxes of leaflets at each upcoming event. You can pick up a stack and hit doors whenever works for you using the app, or join me at a planned time and place.

Fundraising
The first mailer went to about thirty thousand households and the first week of digital is paid for. We’re in a holding pattern until we fund them, but we’ve two more mailers and another digital ad on deck.
We need to raise about $13,000 for the next mailer and $8,000 for the next run of digital.”
