Buy me a coffee?

Derda Moul is a SCAMMER and she is committing fraud AND book PIRACY!

This is a growing trend and you have to be careful about what seems like an innocent book order but is actually fraud. The return address that was used for my bogus order, from Derda, mentioned above, was for the Rycon Professional Center, located in Dayton Ohio at 1550 Yankee Park Place, Dayton, Ohio. 45458.

Blind-Date-With-a-Book was invented by Elizabeth’s Bookshop (Book dealers since 1973) located in Newton, Australia. Then sadly the idea was taken over by literally dozens upon dozens of other businesses in and outside of the US. Some of the businesses are legit and others are not.

Now, there are dozens of these businesses but if you want to order your Blind-Date-With-a-Book from the original creator, Elizabeth’s Bookshop, since 2012, do so at the aforementioned link or here at this link.

Etsy also has some good Blind-Date-With-a-Book deals, which you can look at on their website. I think this is such a great idea, because it promotes literacy, so I support those companies and people who are legitimate and not trying to con consumers with a bogus hand copied chapter of a book, stapled together.

But unfortunately, we routinely come across criminals and scammers. Be careful out there, it’s a jungle.
