LA Mayor Karen Bass comes under fire for Defunding the LA Fire Department of 17 million dollars & is being called to resign

The US needs better qualified politicians...say NO to mediocrity

Buy me a coffee?

The devastation in California, due to the legendary Santa Ana winds, coupled with the defunding of the LA Fire Department (of 17 million last year) should be a lesson to all Americans - Defunding police and fire departments results is a colossus of potential risks.

LA Mayor Karen Bass wanted to defend the LA Fire Department of a total of 49 million, but was only able to defund them by 17 million. What kind of politician, (who wants to be regarded as intelligent) would think that gutting a fire department in an area as fire prone as Los Angeles was an okay or safe option?

One of the risks now, according to scientists, is that there could be deadly fungal spores released into the atmosphere due to the fires, started by the notorious Santa Ana winds.
